Meet the Management Team

Phil is a chartered accountant who holds a practising certificate with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). He is also a qualified insolvency practitioner licensed in the United Kingdom by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).

Phil has advised hundreds of directors since 2007 and helped them understand the options available to them when their businesses are in financial distress. Specialising in all forms of corporate and personal insolvency, and having dealt with businesses in multiple sectors, Phil prides himself on providing pragmatic solutions for all parties affected by insolvency.

Emma is one of our Directors and has assisted countless directors collate the necessary information required to assess their business’ financial position and guide them through the difficult steps required in order to place their company into a voluntary liquidation process.

Emma also focuses on assisting companies through the MVL / solvent liquidation process, working with accountants, directors and HMRC to facilitate the orderly wind down of solvent companies and allow shareholders to extract funds in the most tax efficient manner.

Graham is ideally placed to advise companies and individuals in financial difficulty because during his career he has dealt with insolvency issues from three different perspectives. For the first 6 years, he was an Examiner with the Insolvency Service dealing with the ‘hardcore’ of Court liquidations, bankruptcies, disqualifications and prosecutions; this included a secondment to the fraud squad prosecuting a conspiracy involving a rogue insolvency practitioner.

In 1990 he was approached to join Coopers & Lybrand, (which later became PricewaterhouseCoopers). For the next 7 years he worked almost exclusively on behalf of the clearing banks; before switching to primarily advising owner-managers of insolvent businesses.

He finds working for business owners to be the most rewarding of the three aspects to his career and is able to put those decades of experience to good use on our clients’ behalf.

Patrick has over 30 years of insolvency and restructuring experience and most notably was the MD of Cranfield Business Recovery, a successful insolvency practice located in Coventry for over 20 years.

Patrick’s key area of expertise relate to the investigation of business affairs which bolsters our efforts to achieve realisations for the benefit of creditors.

Owen joined our team in 2020 and currently assists with the management of all cases and the practice in general.

Having passed his AAT level 3 qualification, Owen is currently working towards becoming a chartered accountant whilst expanding his expertise with us.

Sarah joined our team in November 2023 as a receptionist and office manager with over 20 years of relevant experience.

Sarah assists the whole team with our day to day activities and works closely with the directors to ensure we maintain our well respected brand and standards. Sarah is a welcome addition to the team.
